AMR 500 Supercharge (pic. 5)

This is small capacity supercharger manufactured by Aisin for Nissan Motor Company. Coded AMR500 (a step up from the Subaru AMR300) this is another light and compact supercharger. This unit measures 17cm long, 18cm wide and 13cm tall (not including the mounts and bolt-on inlet and outlet pipes). Again, the outlet pipes measures just 45mm OD but its code suggests that it displaces 500cc per revolution.AMR500 blower is used on a very interesting engine. The Japanese-market Nissan March from the early ?0s could be optioned with a MA09 1.0-litre 4-cylinder that boasts a supercharger and turbocharger! Peak power in factory form is 81kW, along with 130Nm of torque. This supercharger can be used for slightly higher power applications than the Subaru AMR300.


Boost Controler (pic. 4)

Modified from standard B6 or B8 Blow Of Valve. Boost can adjust by clock wise or anti clock wise the nut (upper spring on the picture) to increase or decrease boost.

Engine

All parts in this engine was standard. 3 psi of boost is good enought for this engine (standard head gasket). If you want a lot of boots, needed to change 1.5 mm metal head gasket. It's surely give a lot of power with a good reability.


Carburetor

Standard A12 engine without increase jets. Its enought for standard A12 engine and give a good fuel consumption.


Ignition System

Used Mitsubishi Magma IIA (Integrated Ignition Assembly). In the bottom still used a standard disrtibutor, i make extension to connect between standard distributor shaft and magma distributor shaft and welded the both distributor housing to hang it. Ignition timing about 6 degree BTDC bellow standard specification (8-10 degree). A advance timing will caused detonation that may broken your engine.
